It has everything you should have for a good link: it is contextual, comes from a very good domain, has good metrics, is quite unique, and provides you with traffic. However, every worthy SEO also wants proof. Today, we have it: Welcome to the first Unancor case study.

The Unancor team had already tested this linkbuilding strategy before starting this project. We knew it was successful and that it worked. That’s why we decided to launch this platform. But it is clear that we are not an objective voice. Therefore, we proposed one of our users to participate in this first case.

From here, we would like to publicly thank this user, whom we call Marc to maintain his anonymity, for providing us with all this data. Thanks to him, we can show what results we achieve after using Unancor. We want to emphasize that it has only been three weeks since we went online, which demonstrates that the effect of an article published with us is almost immediate. But enough talking, let’s go to the facts.

Let’s take a quick look at a website, whose address or niche we will not disclose for obvious reasons, and how it has changed with the use of Unancor. To show how happy I am with the service, I share some real examples resulting from the links obtained via Unancor. By the way, I use ProRankTracker as a tool to track my keywords.

This keyword doesn’t have many visitors, but it is very competitive. It is very commercial, so if there are visits, the conversion is very high. Users have a strong purchase intent.

Without a doubt, the change may not seem too spectacular, but we know how difficult it is to climb these positions when you are in the TOP3.

With a slightly more powerful journal, I quickly climbed out of the dead zone in another fairly competitive commercial keyword. And, as you can see, it has stabilized (the 0 in gray indicates that it didn’t move yesterday), which suggests that this is not the typical Google dance.

This last keyword is competed by powerful brands such as Decathlon, among others, and most are already behind me on the first page.

High-volume keywords also move with these links.

  • Only one link is noticeable. In this case, visits skyrocketed for two days.
  • This high spike occurs not only because it is positioned on Google, but also due to the many visits that the journals receive monthly and that users read the articles and enter the web. Although I aim to position these articles, it never hurts to have a bit more traffic.
  • We can see that visits are stabilized at a much higher level than the previous week, before placing the link.”

As you can see, links are very effective and produce short-term results. This is just the first case study in our early days of the journey, and we hope to have many more.

Before finishing, we would like to note several observations that Marc made for all users, which we found very useful:

About the link juice

Some users are afraid to share links in a link juice article. In my opinion, unless it’s a huge list of sites, there’s nothing to worry about. In any case, this juice would theoretically escape through internal links on the site (menus, sidebars, etc.), so worrying about that isn’t worth it.

About the nature of links…

“In my opinion, links like those formed at Unancor are as natural as they can appear. It’s the closest thing to an article created by a journalist without sponsorship. It’s about informing and expanding information, which is what Google wants (or at least that’s what it says). So, I believe it’s the best investment you can make today.”

About sharing articles…

We share links of the same theme, but although I have bought several, I have not yet encountered my competition. And if this hasn’t happened to me yet, in the near future, when there are more users, the possibilities will still be minor.
